Getting Started

ChaseDex helps you track your Pokemon TCG collection. Point your camera at any Pokemon card to scan and identify it, then add it to your collection with the variant and condition that matches your card.

Scanning Cards

How do I scan a card?

Tap the Scan tab, point your camera at a Pokemon card so the name and details are visible, and tap the capture button. ChaseDex will use text recognition to identify the card. For best results, ensure good lighting and hold the card steady.

The scanner identified the wrong card

Card recognition works best when the card name and set information are clearly visible. If the wrong card is identified, you can dismiss the result and use the Search tab to find the correct card manually.

I've run out of free scans

Free accounts include 20 lifetime scans. After that, you can upgrade to ChaseDex Premium for unlimited scanning, or continue adding cards manually via the Search tab.

Collection

How are card prices determined?

Prices are sourced from publicly available market data and are estimates only. They may not reflect current sale prices. See our Terms of Service for full pricing disclaimers.

Can I export my collection?

Yes. ChaseDex Premium subscribers can export their collection as a CSV file from the Settings screen.

Is my collection backed up?

If you have iCloud enabled on your device, your collection is automatically synced to iCloud. This means your collection is preserved if you get a new device or reinstall the app.

Subscription

What does ChaseDex Premium include?

How do I cancel my subscription?

Go to your device's Settings > tap your name > Subscriptions > ChaseDex > Cancel Subscription. Your premium features will remain active until the end of your current billing period.

How do I restore my subscription on a new device?

Open ChaseDex, go to Settings, and tap Restore Purchases. Your subscription is tied to your Apple ID and will be restored automatically.
